Abigail Yasgur We are proud to have Abigail Yasgur as our Zamler in Los Angeles California United States Ms. Yasgur is the Director of the Jewish Community Library in Los Angeles. She is also the initiator of the National Children's Jewish Literacy Campaign. She holds a Master of Science in Library Information Science from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She worked as reference librarian at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. -- at the Gutman Library which is part of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and at the Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America, which is part of Radcliffe College. Ms. Yasgur was a librarian in a Los Angeles Jewish day school for 5 years before joining the Jewish Community Library and Bureau of Jewish Education in 1996. Abigail is a member of the Association of Jewish Libraries-National, the Association of Jewish Libraries/Southern California. She initiated the Technology Users Group for the Greater Los Angeles Bureau of Jewish Education. Abigail is also an artist and is working on a Masters degree in Art History.
